Google has officially announced the expansion of its Gemini feature in Chrome to seven new markets: Australia, Indonesia, Japan, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, and Vietnam. This rollout is significant as it enhances both desktop and iOS experiences, with the exception of Japan, where the feature is not yet available.
Key Features of Gemini in Chrome
The Gemini feature integrates AI capabilities into Chrome, allowing users to:

- •Utilize Personal Intelligence to connect with services like Gmail and Google Photos for personalized responses.
- •Schedule meetings via Calendar and check location details using Maps.
- •Draft and send emails directly through Gmail.

Previously, Gemini was launched in the U.S. and expanded to India, Canada, and New Zealand earlier this year. The agentic feature, which automates browser tasks, is currently in testing and available only to AI Pro and AI Ultra subscribers in the U.S.
